This work has some elements enhanced using the cold wax method creating some physical texture in the area of the reeds in the foreground which gives a 3 dimensional feel. This painting is based on views of the North Norfolk coast where the evening light causes everything to glow.
It is expansive and substantial in size and sits in a floating frame which I have painted to match the deep greys in the sky. It is important to me that the frame really complements the work without competing with it.
